Beim 2. Treffen der EU-Projektpartner vom 11. - 12. Oktober 2010 in Breslau wurde der aktuelle Stand des bereits praktizierten Innovationstransfers vorgestellt und diskutiert. On September 7th was held the Initial workshop in Munich, Germany with the participation of 18 top-class decision-makers of clinics, SME-s, R&D and health insurance institutions.

The last project BME EMT joined in is InTraMed-C2C. The main objective of the project obtained the subsidy of the Central Europe Programme is to work out methodology and toolkit for the innovation transfer from the clinics to the small and medium enterprises.

Several European countries came to realise that small and medium-sized enterprises ready to develop products are unaware of the innovation ideas and needs emerging in hospitals and clinics. The reaction was swift: the InTraMed-C2C project proposal, which aims to improve the access of companies to clinical innovations, received a grant of the European Union. The international project consortium has two Hungarian members.
